He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Hackworth; his parents, Arnett Leo Hackworth and Jettie May Hackworth; and his siblings, Dolan Hackworth, Lester Hackworth and Juanita Hackworth.
He is survived by: his son Eric Lee Hackworth; his siblings, Duane Hackworth (Linda) of Lake St, Marietta Barton (Carlos) of Marthasville, MO, Anita Shaffer (George) of Buffalo, MO and Vernita Miller (James) of Thayer, MO; his sisters-in-law, Nelda Hackworth of Batesville, AR and Linda Hackworth of O'Fallon, MO; and his close friends, Monte, Tammy and Whitney Hays. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Dean requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Sunshine School or Valley Baptist Church.
