He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred M. Garvin and Iva Nell Garvin (Trickey); and his brother Roger L. Garvin. He is survived by: his wife Linda Garvin (Vess); his children, Wendy Wheetley (Chris), Brandy Moore (Olivia), Matthew Allen (Kelly) and Justin Allen; his grandchildren, Taylor Waddle, Colby Garvin, Frankie Moore, Meredith Allen, Hayden Allen, Liam Allen and Jacob Allen; his great grandchildren, Dailynn Waddle and Avi Garvin; his brother Melvin Garvin (Sherry); and his nephews, Patrick Garvin and Dustin Garvin.
