As Carolyn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carolyn leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Jones and Faye Woods Jones; her husband Melvin Meredith; her stepson Martin Meredith; and her brother Leon Browning.
She is survived by: her children, Elbert Meredith of Cabot, Delbert Meredith of Beebe and Dedra Taie (Farid Taie) of Murphy; her stepdaughter Carol Vaughan of Beebe; and her siblings, J. L. Browning, Larry Browning of Meridian, Mississippi and Patricia Nina Faye Cushman of Searcy. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, bonus children and grandchildren.
