She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Spurgeon and Vada Spurgeon; and her sisters, Betty, Mary, Jo Ann and Alice Fay.

She is survived by: her sons, Cecil "Rusty" Richards, Patrick "Randy" Richards and Frank Richards (Kim); her grandchildren, Rhianna Hampel (Derick), Emily Troillett (Mark), Coree English (Logan), Taylor Raff (Gene) and Coltin (Erica); and her siblings, Bobbye Jean McArthur, Kathleen McDonald and Harvey "Bubba" Spurgeon.
