It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mathis of Searcy, Arkansas, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kelsie (Buck) and Norma Caldonia Sutherland (Maguffee); her husband James Kennith Mathis; her daughters, Kimberly Elise Donna (Rich) and Tracy Lynn Vest (Ron); and her sisters, Patsy Jean Crouch (Sutherland) and Mary Scribner (Sutherland).
She is survived by: her son James Brian Mathis; her grandchildren, Eleni Allaire Gilbert (Wes), Kennith Oakley Vest and Hunter Mathis; and her great grandchildren, Briar Creed Gilbert, Wyatt Lee Vest and Amelia Renee Mathis.
