She was predeceased by: her father Maurice Eugene Slattery; her husband Lawrence Sidney Young; her brothers, George Slattery and Eugene Slattery; her children, Jim Young, Fernon Hendrix, Martha Chapman and Sharon Horton; and her grandson Michael Breger.
She is survived by: her mother Minnie Jewel Price Slattery; and her children, Lila Conner (Tony) of Wellston, Edward Hendrix (Tressa) of Judsonia, AR, Maurice Hendrix (Petra) of Judsonia, AR, Royce Hendrix (Alma) of Purcell, OK, Boyce Hendrix (Rita), John Hendrix, Lisa Clark (Jerry) of Pangburn, AR, Shelley James of Eileen, TX and Larry Young (Leanna) of Lubbock, TX. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home (2616 S Main St, Searcy, AR 72143). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at the Philadelphia Cemetery.
