She was predeceased by: her parents, James Amos Selvidge and Dessie Adele Selvidge (Barker); her husband Houston Deaton; her son Donnie Lee Deaton; her grandson Devin Deaton; and her siblings, Agnes Schales, Shirley Waller, James of Searcy, Arkansas., Clyde of Searcy, Arkansas. and Gary Selvidge of Searcy, Arkansas..
She is survived by: her children, Brinda Taylor (Danny) of Antlers, Oklahoma, Del Deaton (Doreen), Rick Deaton (Mary) of Pocola, Roger Amos Deaton (Kallie) of Spiro and James Deaton (Jane Ellen) of Spiro, Oklahoma; and her brothers, William and Arwain. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; thirty seven great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
