With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bettie Allen McConnaughhay of Searcy, Arkansas, born in Augusta, Arkansas, who passed away on August 8, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Allen and Elsie Ray Hall; her husband Johnny McConnaughhay; and her siblings, Richard Gregory, Lola Berkshire and Alice Leatrice Gaither.

She is survived by: her children, Cathy Churchwell (Ricky) of Griffithville, Kenneth McConnaughhay (Susan), Terri Coats (James) of Harrison and Douglas McConnaughhay (Tammy) of Searcy; her grandchildren, Carrie White (Tim), Myron Churchwell (Heather), Anthony McConnaughhay (Leslee), Kendal Wages (Jeremy), Toby Shea (Ty), Jonathon Coats (Nicole), Janeice Franklin (Caleb), Jeremy Coats (Kayla), Olivia Hammitt (Preston), Mariah Stockman (Daniel), Heath McConnaughhay (Tina), Nathan Claxton (Rebecca) and Dilon Willmuth; and her sister Patsy Ruth McDoniel of Azle, Texas.. She is also survived by 33 Great-Grandchildren.
