It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Layrock of Searcy, Arkansas, born in Griffithville, Arkansas, who passed away on March 9, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Mulherin and Ora Moore Mulherin; and her husband Larry Sneed Layrock. She is survived by: her children, David Layrock of Griffithville, Michael Layrock (Donna Kay) of Griffithville, Ronald Layrock (Nancy) of Griffithville, Carolyn Light of Covington and Brenda Smith (Scott) of West Point; her grandchildren, Beth, Danny, Andrew, Lucas Layrock, Whitney Williams, Cory Light, Christopher Smith, Ashley Bryant and Charles Smith; her siblings, Bonnie McIntosh of Des Arc, Mary Dell Layrock of Oklahoma City, John Mulherin of Devalls Bluff, George Mulherin of Wynne and Gary "Bo" Mulherin of Judsonia; and her close friend Larry Turner. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
