It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Shearin (Searcy, Arkansas), who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattie Crawford Shearin and James Burton Shearin; and his brother James Kenneth Shearin. He is survived by: his wife Sheri Tipps Shearin; his children, Jared Scott Shearin and Elizabeth Anne Thomason (Daniel); his grandchildren, Jordan (Anna), Keaton (Laurel), Cameron, Mariya, Aidan Shearin, Seth, Finn, Hattie Claire and Ford Thomason; his great grandchildren, Evelynn and Everett Shearin; his siblings, Michael Shearin (Nita) and Rosemarie House (David); his niece Ashley Hudgens (Troy); his nephew Andy House (Monica); his great-nephews, Joshua, Jacob Hudgens, Caleb, Matthew and Levi House; and his great-niece Naomi House.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the College Church of Christ (712 E Race Ave, Searcy, AR 72143). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
