It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Brown of Scranton, Arkansas, who passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Yarbrough and Marie Yarbrough (Fox); her husband Joseph Kent Brown; her son Eddie Butterfield; and her brothers, Leon, Lyndel and Don Yarbrough.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Heavener of Scranton, Jo Ann Garcia (Don) of Greenbrier, David Brown (Cindy) of Nashville and Vincent Brown of Kirtland; and her siblings, Betty Swearingen of Bloomfield and Nathan Yarbrough (Rosetta) of Wichita, Kansas. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
