We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2023, at the age of 84, Gerald Brooks of Scranton, Arkansas, born in Ratcliff, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Jackson Brooks and Emma Agnes Brooks (Tygart); his wife Shirley Brooks (Hice); his siblings, Guy Brooks, Jackie Lewis and Karen Garren; his daughter Melissa Eads; his stepson William Schiffman; and his grandson Hunter White.

He is survived by: his children, Bobby Wayne Brooks of McRae, Arkansas and Emma Susan Sisson of Scranton, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Bobbie White (Terry) of Searcy, Jeremy Brooks of Beebe, Aubree Sisson (Baily Atchison), Duncan Sisson of Scranton and Brianna Moore (Ethan) of Dover, Arkansas; and his great grandchildren, Axis Reichert, Emmett Moore, Elliott Moore and Chad White. He is also survived by three step-children he loved as his own; several step grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; other family members and friends.
