He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Roper and Fanny Roper (Rollans); his son Danny Roper; and his siblings, Syble Denton, Gertrude Stovall, Clyde Roper and James Roper.
He is survived by : his wife Delcia Roper (Dial) of Scranton; and his children, Delores Roper of Scranton, Beverly Nowotny (Gary) of Clarksville, Alton Roper (Margaret) of Scranton and Greg Roper (Jennifer) of Scranton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
