He is survived by: his wife Hui Cai; his daughter Valorie Lam; his mother Mary Phonsavanh Lam (Phonsavanh); and his siblings, Yongi Lam, Jin Lam (Toukta), Pheng Lam (Juliette), Noi Lam (Kelsey), Ien Mason (John), Siang Reid (Steve) and Khim Chuang (Richard). He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
