He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Dawson Whitfield; his children, Kenneth Whitfield (Tanya) of Little Rock, Donald Whitfield (Tanya) of Bryant, Billy Whitfield (Stacy) of Scott and Denise Mitchell of Austin; and his siblings, Jack Whitfield (Betty), Frances Smith, Martha Mathews (L. H. Sonny) and Stella Miranda (Rick). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
