He is survived by: his mother Jeanive Teague Hankins; his sister Laura Shirley; his brother-in-law David Shirley; his nephew Whitt Whitton (Courtney Whitton); and his great-nephew Carter Keith Whitton. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
