It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonny Whorton in Saline, Arkansas, born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Ray and Ann Anderson Whorton; and his brothers, Robert Gene Whorton (Bob) and Darryl Lee Whorton. He is survived by: his brothers, Richard Doyle Whorton of Maricopa, CA and Larry Roy Whorton (Grace) of Benton; his close friend David Ross of Haskell; his sister-in-law Babartha Whorton Adkins of Hot Springs; and his pet Little Bit. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews, and twenty-one great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in Lonny's name may be made to The American Cancer Society.
