He is survived by: his children, Hope DeLaGarza (Jose), Julia Wendy Alsbrook, Michael Alsbrook (Nikki) and Christopher Alsbrook (Samantha); his sisters, Bobbie Slayton and Patricia McCLellan (Johnny); and his uncle Carroll Cash.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Benton First United Methodist Church, to the Republican party of Saline County or the Pike Kappa Alfa Fraternity at Sam Houston State.
