He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Strauss and Lillian Strauss (Werner); his wife Betty Strauss; and his son David Strauss. He is survived by: his children, Richard Strauss (Robin) of Harvard, Illinois, Deborah Lindenberg (Rus) of Harvard and Jeannine Balmer (Guy) of Lake; and his grandchildren, Brenton Lindenberg of Harvard, Ryan Lindenberg of Capron and Lindsey Strauss of Harvard, Illinois. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
