He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel R. Statler and Betty Statler (Vaughn); and his son Rustin Statler. He is survived by: his former wife Linda Meredith; his wife Joan Kelley of Salem, Arkansas; his daughters, Meridith Vaughan (Mark Glavin) of Waterbury and Kammi Nazarenko (Jason) of Cotter, Arkansas; his stepdaughter Jamie Rydl (Andy Clifford) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his son Dustin Statler of Los Angeles, California; his stepsons, Jeremy Rydl (Julie) of Boone and Shaun Rydl (Natalie) of Indianola, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Samantha Nazarenko, Charlie Nazarekko, Trevin Sperry, Drew Clifford, Jordan Rydl and Jaden Rydl.
A note from Meridith: Dear Family and Friends, It is with great sadness and a very, heavy heart, we must tell you we lost our dear father, William "Fox" Statler, on January 1st, after a long hospitalization due to complications from a by-pass surgery and Covid-19, which he contracted while hospitalized.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Arkansas Game and Fish or Meals on Wheels.
