She was predeceased by: her parents, William Paul Haufschild and Marie Haufschild (Dulke); her husband Mervin Phelps; and her siblings, Larry Haufschild, Betty Culbertson, Marlene Cummings and Carrie Alford.
She is survived by: her son Richard Jones of Salem, Arkansas; her grandson Skylar Jones (Shelby) of Doniphan, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Canton Jones, Zeke Jones, Birdie Jones and Rory Jones; and her brother Billy Haufschild of Yuma, Arizona. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas.
