It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruthie Lee Harris of Salem, Arkansas, born in Moko, Arkansas, who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Felix Bassham and Mary Evelyn Bassham (Holloway); her husband Orvilee Harris; and her siblings, May Bassham, Jim, Odell, Talmadge, Edwin, Roy, Archie and Thomas.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronnie Harris (Sandra) of Maumelle, Ray Harris (Ellen) of Jordan and Bobby Harris (Donna) of Bryant, Arkansas; her grandsons, Zachary Harris (Katie) of Jordan, Ezekiel Harris (Erin) of Germantown and Zane Harris (Rebecca) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; her great grandchildren, Ezzie Ruth Harris, Charlotte Ray Harris, Maizie Kay Harris and Lane Harris; and her close friends, Eva Davis, Johnny Davis, Gene McBroom, Carol McBroom, Theresa McBride, Bertha Thornton, Beth Yarnell and Tena Hart. She is also survived by her coworkers; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Stateline Cemetery Association in Moko, Arkansas.
