He is survived by: his parents, James Michael Laxton and Heidi Marie Laxton (Brown); his brother Zach Laxton of Salem, Arkansas; his grandparents, Rhonda, Ruben Vasquez of Hooks, Jerry and Laura Brown of Salem, Arkansas; and his great-grandparents, Linda Isaac of Hot Springs, Jim Brown of Mountain Home and Margaret Smith of West Plains, Missouri. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Salem Mighty Mite Football Association.
