He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Welden and Mattie Elizabeth Welden (Hardin). He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Scott of Salem, Arkansas; his children, David Welden (Gale) of Hermitage, Tennessee and Connie Welden of Franklin, Tennessee; his granddaughter Lisa Lin Welden of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; and his brothers, Gene Welden of Arlington, Cosby Welden (Doris) of Bartlett and Leon Welden (Tasia) of Lakeland, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shepherd's Chapel (PO Box 416, Gravette, Arkansas 72736), St Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee or the Alzheimer's Association.
