He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Pool and Ollie Pool (Atwood); his children, Gordon Pool and Lorna Mack; his granddaughter Elizabeth Pool; and his sister Lawanda Pool.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Pool of Salem, Arkansas. He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
