He is survived by: his wife Rose Hamling (Reed); his children, Monica Spencer (John) of Victor, Montana and Benjamin Hamling of Victor, Montana; his grandchildren, Alexander, Abigaile, Madison, Gabriella and Amelia; and his siblings, Charles Hamling (Theresa), Richard Hamling (Charlotte), Paula Yancey, Diana Simo, Louise Burnett (Ken) and Mary Earnhart (Joe). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Southern Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas.
