With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Mullens of Salem, Arkansas, born in Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on September 22, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen G. Wilmore and Bessie Lea Wilmore (Brown); her husband Marion O. Mullens; her stepmother Sabine Wilmore; her daughter Beverly J. Mullens; and her siblings, Buddy Wilmore, Eugene Wilmore, Francis Wilmore, Virginia Miller and Helen Burnham.

She is survived by: her daughter Gwyndolyn Hutchins of Salem, Arkansas; her granddaughters, Felicia Bruyette (David) of Harrison and Andrea Long (Chip) of Springdale, Arkansas; her great grandchildren, Brittany Snow (Gregg) of Post Falls, Megan Bruyette of Harrison and J. T. Long of Springdale, Arkansas; her great great grandchildren, Asher Snow, Ava Snow and Michael David Bruyette; her siblings, Tommy Wilmore of Alexandria, Charles Wilmore (Helen) of Pineville, Louisiana, Juanita Roy (Gerald) of Hesmer and Evelyn Brazzel of Houghton, Louisiana; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Wilmore of Alexandria and Betty Mullens of LaMarque, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas or to New Beginnings in Ash Flat, Arkansas.
