He was predeceased by: his parents, Horatio James Humphries (Race) and Lois Lee Humphries (Watson). He is survived by: his wife Betty Humphries of Salem, Arkansas; his children, David Humphries (Anna) of Sturkie, Arkansas and Ann Barnes (Gary) of Liberty, Missouri; his grandchildren, Heather Parsons (Brandon), B. J. Humphries (Nicole), LeeAnn Tullis (David), Kristen Johnson (Mark) and Beth Humphries; and his great grandchildren, Samantha Parsons, Alexis Parsons, Coltin Johnson, Brooks Johnson, Hadley Johnson and Millie Johnson. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Salem United Methodist Church.
