He was predeceased by: his parents, Carey Godwin and Arlie Mooney Godwin; his sons, Frank, Weston and Carey Dave Godwin; and his brothers, Donald and John Godwin.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his brother Jim Godwin of Ash Flat, Arkansas; his granddaughters, Jessica Godwin and Meaghan Beliz of Ephrata, Washington; his great grandchildren, Ethan Darling, Destiny Gonzalas and Nakaya Beliz; and his great great grandchildren, Jay and Luka Gonzalas.
Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas.
