He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyce Tyler and Alberta Tyler (Suttle); and his daughter Diane Tyler. He is survived by: his sons, Steven Tyler of Poplar Bluff and Cody Tyler of Murray, Kentucky; and his siblings, Curtis Tyler, Glen Tyler of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Renee Lampert of Popular Bluff, Missouri. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
