He is survived by: his wife Carol Simmons; his children, Jerry David (Leanne Simmons), Terry Ray (Terri Simmons) and Janet Kay; his son-in-law Richard Taylor of West Fork; his grandchildren, Julia Jean Montgomery of Fayetteville and Brooke Lynn (Christopher William Gipson); his great grandchildren, Elliott William Gipson, Carla Jean Gipson and Ethan Wid Gipson; and his sisters, Wanda (Shipp) and Linda Lewis (Bruce Mullen).
