She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lee and Louise Nelson (Sones); her daughter Valarie Ann Chadwick; and her uncle Eddie. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Knight, Jr.; and her siblings, Michael Nelson, Brenda Nelson-Frisby, Sharon McCrary and Stacy Nelson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
