He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Adams and Tessie Adams (Looney); his brothers, Gary Phillips and Bobby Phillips; and his siblings-in-law, Roy Hunter, Ricky Hunter, Bob Ham and Ruth Wien.
He is survived by: his wife Reva Adams (Hunter); his daughter Rachel; his son-in-law Jered Avery; his siblings, Lynn Adams (Claudia), John Adams (Linda), Terry Adams (Lottie), Ginger Maples (Ross) and Joyce Ham; his grandchildren, Adison Hilligoss, Kason Hilligoss, Chloe Avery and Logan Avery; and his siblings-in-law, Ruie, Norman Baker, Rita, Don Clardy, Rocky, Paula Hunter and Nancy Hunter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
