He is survived by: his sibling Cypress; his children, Christopher Carr Newkirk (Donna), Amelia Rich Elam, Robert Bruce Newkirk, Jr and Craig Madar (Ann); his grandchildren, Ashli Elam Bucher (Aaron), Gere Elam, Britni Newkirk, Kinser Dean Newkirk, Kacie Lynn Newkirk, Robert Shook Newkirk (Bliss), Drake Newkirk and James Newkirk; his sister Nancy Jackson (Cliff); his sister-in-law Gwen Newkirk of West Helena, AR; and his great grandchildren, Brogan, Marek Bucher, Jenna and Whit Newkirk.
