He was predeceased by: his parents, James Otis and Mary Magdalene Crawford Smith; his wife Joyce; and his son John Smith. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Gordon of Hot Springs, Danny Smith of St. Charles and Nikki Byrd (Rusty) of Arkadelphia; his grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Sydney Smith, Peyton Navarre, Braydon Todd (Victoria), Madison Frazier (Brandon) and Hunter Tate (Megan); and his siblings, Mack of Stuttgart, Carl Smith of Stuttgart, Maxine Oliver of White Hall and Berth Orrick of Humphrey. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
