He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Smith and Sarah Rogers Smith; his sister Mary Biles; his daughter Connie Pollock; and his grandchildren, Russell Sheedy and Trisha Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Treva Smith; his children, James Smith of Sage, Linda Lawrence (Scott) of Sage, Gina Sheedy (David) of Sage and David Smith (Joy) of Sage; his siblings, Roger Smith (Mavis) of Wyoming and Betty Stebens of Washington; and his grandchildren, Rubin Smith (Ashley), Travis Lawrence (Laura), Shawna Love (Brett), Sondra Webb (Joe), Christi Thomas (Kenny), Syndey Sheedy and Garrett Smith. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
