He was predeceased by: his parents, L. J. Gay and Tootsie Gay (Asberry); and his granddaughter Kara Shayne Watts. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Gay (Keeli) of Smithville and Lisa Watts (Shane) of Strawberry; his siblings, Bobby Joe Gay (Mary) of Cave City, Sharon Kay Palmer of Cave City and Kathy Ann Huskey (Randy) of Cave City; and his grandchildren, William Levi Watts (Ashley), Ashlyn Bruce (Michael), Lane Baxter Lee Gay (Lorah Jean) and Evie Rae Robbins (Austin). He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.
