She was predeceased by: her husband David Gayle Tarter; her daughter Susan Tarter Ward; her son-in-law Jim Lenderman; her parents, Harry West and Addie West; and her siblings, Earl, Charlie, Dennis, Woodrow, Bill, Harry Lee West, Ruth Silcott and Ruby Lambertson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dianne Tarter Briggs (Jay) of Pottsville and Beth Tarter Lenderman (Jim) of Fort Worth, Texas.; her grandchildren, David Ward, Leighton Satterfield (Taylor), Logan Satterfield (Lauren), Lawson Satterfield, Hayden Lenderman, Jordan Lenderman (Mary Kinsey) and Elisabeth Ward; and her great grandchildren, Mitchell Ward, Chloe Ward, Gage Ward (Hope), Gunner Ward, Lucy Satterfield, Ellie Satterfield and Molly Satterfield.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carlisle Methodist Church (218 E 3rd St, Carlisle, AR 72024). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at the Carlisle Cemetery (729 Raborn Rd, Carlisle, AR 72024).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carlisle Methodist Church.
