Margarette Bass Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margarette Bass of Russellville, Arkansas, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry L. Monday and Edith Jewell Monday; her siblings, Henry L. Monday, Jr., Joseph Monday, June Veach, Patricia Boyle and Ada Fancher; her daughter Margarett Ann Bass; and her children-in-law, Jacqueline Bass, Jeanne Bass and Jerry R. Akin.
She is survived by: her children, James H. Bass, Jr. (Beverly), Henry D. Bass, Michael D. Bass, Susie (Steve Olson) and Katherine E. (Tom Ridgeway); and her grandchildren, Stephanie, Christor Hanstrom, Lisa, Chad Gleaves, Amy, Julian Sims, Kimberly, Jon Haverstick, Amanda, Rico Recometa, Brandi Bass, Teri Bass, Mike Bass, Jr., Jeff Akin, Laura, Niall Blasdell, Mary Ridgeway and Sarah Olson. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren (and 1 on the way); 2 great-great grandchildren; and a large host of family and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pottsville First Baptist Church (5390 W Ash St, Pottsville, AR 72858).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor may be made to Pottsville First Baptist Church.
