He is survived by: his children, Jason Battles (Bethany) of Nolensville, TN, Jenny Williams (Clayton) of Franklin, TN and Angie Johnston (Kyle) of Little Rock; his sisters, Susie Scott (Johnny) of Heber Springs and Patricia A. Battles-Shoffner of Newport; and his grandchildren, Lawren, Claire, John Clayton Williams of Franklin, TN, Elliott, Emily Battles of Nolensville, TN, Cole Turner and Jules Johnston of Little Rock.
In lieu of flowers, the Battles family has requested donations to be made to Blue Springs Cemetery at 9429 Harrison Street, Newark, Arkansas 72562.
