He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Phipps and Edna Nunley Phipps; and his sisters, Mary Spivey and Helen Huett. He is survived by: his sons, Shawn Phipps (Jen Lefeure) and Jack Phipps (Sara Phipps); and his grandson Cooper Riley Phipps.
