We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Jo Ann Douthit of Russellville, Arkansas, born in Atkins, Arkansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry H. Walters and Ethel Ann Goates Walters; her husband J. W. "Dub" Douthit; and her brothers, Jackson Brown Walters and Ralph Dell Newsum.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Douthit of Russellville and Bill of Russellville; her daughter-in-law Toni Douthit of Russellville; her sister Patsy Bradley of Atkins; her grandchildren, Shawn Douthit, Ashley Allen, Chris Douthit (Meaghan) and Amber Douthit; and her great grandchildren, Tal Allen and Abby Evans. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shinn Funeral Service (800 W Main St, Russellville, AR 72801). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Evans Mountain Full Gospel Church (820 Evans Mountain Rd, Atkins, AR 72823).
