He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlet Jene and Opal Marie Ludwick Keener; and his siblings, Orlet Jene Keener, Jr. and Jane Marie Aleshire. He is survived by: his sons, J. J. Keener (Suzie) and Brian (Jasmine Keener); his grandchildren, Alora Keim, Alyssa Keener, Chase Glaspy, Jacob Glaspy, Seth Keener, Aurora Collett, Everett Collett and Gabriella Hodges; his great grandchild Dallas Keim; and his brothers, Art Keener (Terry) of Mentor and Allen Keener (Judy) of Chardon.
