It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacque Edwina Briggs of Russellville, Arkansas, who passed away on June 14, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Leonard and Emma Olive Brown Shade; her husband James Bufford Briggs; and her son Shannon Briggs. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Rene'Dulaney of Tucson, Arizonia, Ruth Gruchow of Orange, Helen Mitchell of Beckemeyer, Virginia Huusko of Carlyle, Anne Shans of Illinois, Ronald Apple of Ft. Smith and Mark Pike of Orange, California; and her close friend Tom Neumeier of Russellville.
