She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Gallagher (Tech) of Arkansas; her children, John Daniel Gallagher and Ashley Diane Gallagher; her mother Frances Hampton of Searcy; her siblings, Debbie Walsh (Ben), Donna Herron (Junior), Tammy Cross (Randy) and Tony Yates; her father Billy Guy Thompson; her stepfathers, Don Yates and Jack Hampton; her grandparents, Grace Richardson and W. J. Richardson; and her friend Martha Paine. She was also cherished by many nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grandnieces.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Cancer Society to search for a cure for mesothelioma.
