He is survived by: his parents, Chaplain Paul Northcut and Blossom Northcut; his wife Amanda Northcut; his children, Michael Hughes, Steven Hughes (Emily) and Kellye Davis (Kerry); and his brother Danny Northcut (Cheshire). He is also survived by his four granddaughters and two grandsons.
