It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Shirley of Russellville, Arkansas, born in Berryville, Arkansas, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll B. Ward and Leora Kate Ward (Cain); her husband Michael Shirley; and her son Weston O. Shirley. She is survived by: her children, John Shirley of California, Timothy Shirley of Arkansas and Tamsey Hilsabeck of Arkansas; and her siblings-in-law, Bill and Linda Shirley of Tennessee. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many other family members, friends.
