She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Nowotny and Mae Nowotny (Masterson); and her siblings, Jay Nowotny, Bill Nowotny, Tommy Ed Nowotny, Mary Williams, Bobbie McLean, Tommie Mae Nowotny and Myrtle Armstrong.
She is survived by: her husband James "Scooter" Hays; her children, Phillip Hays (Anna Nottmeier), Michael Hays (Becky) and Nancy Davis (Jamie); and her sister Patricia Smith. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren.
