She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Turner and Eva Marie Turner (Miten); her son Clifford Barnett; and her siblings, Lenora Simkins, Myrna Moyer, J. M. Turner and Fredrick C. Turner, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband James; her children, Betty Morrow of Albany, Trudy Bradford of Prescott, Arizona and Walter Barnett of Salem, Oregon; and her brothers, Guy Turner of Willows and Melvin Turner of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
