Though Ruth Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruth Evelyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin "Fate" Coker and Delcie Coker; her husband Olen McKinney; and her sister Olean Mobley. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Keys, Gary Rice (Rita), Marcy Johnson (Ronnie), Mike McKinney and Doug McKinney; her aunt Billie Berry; and her close friend Sandy Richards. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren, and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Caruth-Hale Life Celebration Center (2529 Airport Rd, Hot Springs National Park, AR 71913). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
